Kyocera at EMO show

Cutting tool specialist Kyocera says that it plans to exhibit its products at EMO 2021, a metalworking show taking place from 4–9 October 2021 in Milan, Italy.

This includes its MFH boost cutter for high feed milling with a maximum depth of cut of 2.5 mm and poly crystalline diamond (PCD) tools for the electric vehicle market and aerospace.

According to the company, it has developed new coating technologies that can prolong tool lives as well as new developed hybrid substrates that can reduce the usage of carbide.

On show will be its KDA solid carbide drill which is available with and without coolant holes accommodating a wide variety of applications, 2ZDK, a flat bottom drill, which provides high precision and stable machining results due to its special chisel edge with S-curve, and the Q Series solid end mills available with a new torus type cutter and improved end mills for trochoidal milling with Weldonshank.
