The Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council will address the tax and regulatory climate of Pennsylvania, as well as talent and innovation, research and development, energy and international opportunities.
“I am honoured to have been selected by Gov. Corbett and his administration to help lead this Council and look forward to developing solutions that will advance Pennsylvania’s manufacturing sector,” says Cardoso.
“As manufacturers, we have a responsibility to be part of the solution by partnering with government, not relying on it, to make change for the future of manufacturing.”
The Council will consist of 23 members from a cross-section of manufacturing interests including heavy manufacturing, minerals, pharmaceuticals, plastics, steel, and textiles. Additionally, three manufacturing trade associations including one from the Industrial Resource Center will also participate.
