JPMA elects new president

At the general assembly of the Japan Powder Metallurgy Association (JPMA) held in Tokyo on 18 May, Nobuhiro Hashimoto of Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd was elected president, replacing Yoishi Inoue.

Fifteen other board members were installed or re-elected to serve for the next two years.

Yoshio Uetsuki continues as executive director.
