The US Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) will run the 47th Combustion Seminar, its Safety Standards Seminar, and the revised Induction Seminar, in Covington, KY, this autumn.
The concurrent seminars will be held from 19–20 September along with a joint tabletop exhibition and reception on 19 September. The tabletop exhibition features companies from all the technologies represented throughout the three seminars.
The Annual Combustion Seminar is designed to provide current and relevant information for those responsible for the operation, design, selection and/or maintenance of fuel-fired industrial process furnaces and ovens. The two-day class consists of eighteen sessions covering air-gas premixing, applications, burners, controls, flame supervision, gas flow measurement, infrared heating, metering, troubleshooting and more.
The Safety Standards Seminar provides safety information for those involved with the design, manufacture, service or operation of ovens, furnaces, kilns, dryers, thermal oxidizers and a wide range of industrial applications. Speakers will highlight and discuss changes in the NFPA 86 standard released in 2016 how they will affect attendees.
Technology basics
IHEA has revised its Induction Seminar to provide a complete understanding of the technology. During this one-day seminar, attendees will learn about the basics of induction technology, equipment needed for an induction operation, induction processes, applications and markets,advantages of induction for improving plant operations, and what is needed to set up an induction operation.
