IHEA announces 2023-24 board

The Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) has announced its 2023-24 board of directors and executive officers.

The new president is Brian Kelly, manager at Honeywell Thermal Solutions, while Jeff Rafter, VP of sales and marketing has been appointed vice president.

Gary Berwick, engineer at Dry Coolers is treasurer and Jeff Valuck, VP at Surface Combustion is past presidents.

According to the association, Kelly has been an active member for over 20 years and has served as the Education Committee and Combustion Seminar chair.

“I plan to focus on further defining IHEA’s sustainability/decarbonization vision and solidify a roadmap that puts IHEA in the forefront of emerging trends that are impacting our industry,” said Kelly. “In addition, I plan to push to finalize the Advanced Online Industrial Process Heating course to offer more educational opportunities for people in the thermal processing industry.”

Helen Tuttle, VP of finance at WS Thermal Process Technology, has also been newly appointed to the board.
