IHEA announces 2014 safety seminar

The event will be held in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA.

The two-day seminar will provide a review of the 2011 edition of the NFPA 86 standard for ovens and furnaces, including updated requirements for many areas of safety.  Attendees will also receive a copy of the NFPA86 handbook as part of their registration materials.

The content includes an introduction to NFPA 86 and will cover areas such as the general requirements and compliant location and construction requirements for ovens and furnaces, safety equipment including programmable logic controller systems, class A, B & C furnaces, commissioning, operations, maintenance, inspection and testing, gas line evacuation (purging) and charging, safety controls and devices, and loss prevention and product liability. The 2014 seminar will also include a sneak peek at some of the potential new updates to the NFPA86 standard.
