Höganäs reorganizes business

Höganäs AB has reorganised its business into three global business areas: automotive, industrial and environmental. Operations have also been globalized and Magnus Grönborg has been appointed chief operations officer.

‘The purpose of this reorganisation is to better allocate and focus our resources on our customers’ needs and to develop sustainable products and solutions for the future,’ said Melker Jernberg, CEO at Höganäs AB.

Magnus Grönborg is currently employed as group operations director at construction company Lindab. He has held different managerial positions in operations for the past 14 years.

‘I am pleased that Magnus has accepted to join Höganäs,’ said Jernberg. ‘He brings with him an extensive experience from building successful cross-border teams that optimize operations in terms of safety, quality and cost.’

Höganäs has appointed three business area managers for automotive. Marie Samuelsson, currently vice president commercial, will head up automotive Europe. Fredrik Emilson, currently head of region Asia, will assume responsibility for Automotive APAC (Asia Pacific).

Avinash Gore, currently head of region North America, has been appointed business area manager for environmental. Dean Howard assumes Avinash’s role as managing director of North American Höganäs.

For the industrial business area, Höganäs has started a recruitment process. Hans Söderhjelm, vice president R&D, will take interim responsibility for the business area.
