GKN Hoeganaes, part of the powder metallurgy division of GKN, announces that Reid Southby has been appointed president, effective immediately.
Reid joined GKN in 2014 as senior vice president, global quality & risk management. He has experience from Magna Powertrain where he held the position of general manager, precision technologies and more recently the position executive director, global quality.
‘In an effort to continue driving our strategy and aligning the executive management team to be successfully set up to focus on the future, I’m pleased to have Reid as the head of the global Hoeganaes business,’ stated Peter Oberparleiter, CEO of GKN Powder Metallurgy.
GKN Hoeganaes is a leader in the production of metal powders for the production of structural components, with metal powder manufacturing facilities in the United States, Europe and Asia.
