Machine tool specialist Heinrich Georg GmbH has acquired North American machine tool builder Capco Machinery Systems, Inc, renaming it Georg Capco Inc.
‘Capco is a well established and highly innovative family company that has been worldwide successful with its roll grinding machines in the medium segments and its sales and service divisions,’ said CEO Mark Georg. ‘Our new company will create synergies from both portfolios and we can offer a much wider product range especially in the field of roll grinding.’ the company says that the new company will help strengthen the presence of three Georg business units: transformer division, finishing lines and machine tools on the American market.
