GE Additive announced today that it has been selected to provide its 3D printing consultancy services to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI), a manufacturer of remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) systems, radars, electro-optic and related mission systems.
GE Additive AddWorks is a team of over 200 engineering and manufacturing employees who aim to help organizations shorten the learning curve for introducing additive manufacturing (AM) into their business - advising on industrialization, part certification processes, materials characterization and production readiness strategies. Plans are for AddWorks to work with GA-ASI to accelerate and strengthen the qualification and implementation of metal additive within its products and processes.
