Gasbarre was one of the original founders of the company in February 1973. The company was originally started to manufacture powder-compaction presses for the young powder metallurgy industry in north central Pennsylvania. Gasbarre began his career with Gasbarre Products as a journeyman machinist and advanced into positions in manufacturing and engineering management and finally into technical sales of presses and related products.
