Gary Schuster, OMCO president and CEO, Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 Northeast Ohio Winner

OMCO, a prominent custom roll former offering secondary e-coating and powder coating services, is pleased to announce that Gary Schuster, president and CEO, has been named winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 Award, Northeast Ohio. Mr. Schuster beat out 27 finalists in the Northeast Ohio program. "I am very honored to have been selected for this prestigious award," said Schuster in his acceptance speech during a special gala event on June 27 at the Marriott Cleveland Downtown. "The credit for our accomplishments is shared with all of our employees at OMCO. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards program recognizes entrepreneurs in companies with high growth who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Mr. Schuster joined OMCO in 2006 and brought with him more than 30 years of experience in industrial manufacturing. It was a very challenging time at OMCO, and Mr. Schuster immediately formulated the company’s new growth strategy, which included the ability to respond quickly to market opportunities. The result of this strategy was a sales increase of 816% over the three year period from 2009 to 2012.
