Metaltech makes powder metallurgy (PM) parts and 65% of its sales go to the automotive market. Last year the company added secondary equipment to its in-house machining department and plans to add an automated compacting and sintering line in 2011. It currently has 22 compacting presses up to 220 tons, five sintering furnaces, and three sizing presses.
The company forecasts 2011 sales exceeding US$5 million and expects to complete the expansion during the Spring.
