Euro PM2018 receives record number of abstracts

The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) says that its Euro PM Congress & Exhibition has attracted a record number of abstracts.

The 2018 event will take place in Bilbao, Spain, from 14-18 October.

The association reports that it has recorded over 350 abstracts provided by the powder metallurgy community, an increase of 20% compared to previous years’ Euro PM Events. The number of submitted abstracts, representing some 42 countries, focus on different areas of powder metallurgy, including additive manufacturing, hard materials, hot isostatic pressing, metal injection molding and conventional press and sinter.

Over 75% of the exhibition space has also already been reserved, but reservations are still being accepted and bookings can be made online, subject to availability, the EPMA says.
