Following the success of its Functional Materials seminar which took place in May, EPMA says that is looking for member support for the same event in 2019.
The powder metal organization is looking for members to join a steering committee. When organising an EPMA seminar, a committee of between five to seven members is created who join monthly conference calls and help support the event to move forward. The committee discuss and provide suggestions on the title, topic, location, site visit and other aspects of planning the event to help guide EPMA to create an event that the members want.
The committee will also be led by two co-chairs who will help make the final decisions and chair at group meetings and events by introducing speakers and ensuring agendas are followed. The EPMA says that it would also like to build up a functional materials mailing list of people who would like to receive related updates.
