Element Materials Technology (Element) has opened a new SEK25 000 engineering facility in Linköping, Sweden.

The facility features an open plan layout to improve flexibility and the ability to accommodate increases in production volume, as well as install new equipment and services, the company said. According to Element, it offers calibration, destructive and non-destructive testing alongside R&D support, advisory, training and investigations. Projects include method development for composite car body repairs, fighter jet inspection and material qualification for satellite dispensation systems.
