EAG Coatings Solutions recently added new leadership to its team by hiring Randy Francisco as general manager and Dennis Buhl as business development manager. Both bring extensive experience in the paints, coatings, chemicals and technical services industries. Francisco most recently held business development and corporate sales roles with SGS Consumer Testing Services and NSF International. He began his career with Dow Chemical Company, leading sales, R&D, and technical services for thermosetting resins, specialty monomers, epoxies, vinyl esters, and other coatings products. He also directed sales and marketing of powder coating services, architectural, special purpose and automotive coating materials and spectrophotometer technology for several different companies. “Randy has experience in almost every aspect of coatings research, development and paint manufacturing,” said Harry Davoody, CEO of Evans Analytical Group, parent of EAG Coating Solutions. “His depth of coatings industry experience, along with his recent leadership in testing and analytical services, will help guide EAG Coatings Solutions’ growth and expansion.” Buhl will be assisting and advising clients as they develop innovative paints and coatings products, from idea generation and feasibility studies to formulation development, scale-up and manufacturing support. In previous positions, Buhl has provided sales leadership for a variety of industrial chemical and coating companies, including Eckart America, Akzo Nobel, Quaker Chemical, PPG Industries and The Valspar Corporation.
