Dörken MKS Systems, the parent company of Dörken Corporation USA, recently welcomed 230 visitors from four continents and 25 countries to its headquarters in Düsseldorf to learn about its latest coatings developments. Visitors included representatives of the automotive industry, tier suppliers, licensed applicators and coating equipment manufacturers. During the event,  Dörken MKS Systems showcased new developments in zinc flake technology as well as two new brands in the finishing market. Under the brand name Delta-Prozinc® Dörken MKS Systems presented a new generation of electroplating systems, featuring high levels of efficiency, ecological sustainability and high anti-corrosion protection. The new Delta-eLack® electro-coating system can work synergistically with either electroplated coats of zinc/zinc alloys or of base coats from the DELTA-MKS® zinc flake portfolio as a topcoat. With this product a form of active cathodic corrosion protection specifically for high-volume small parts is achieved. Even 'small parts', which were previously coated on a rack, can now be coated in bulk utilizing Dörken MKS application technology, Dörken MKS Systems claims.
