Desktop Metal’s Production System has been honored in The Edison Awards, which recognize innovation and excellence in the development of new products and services
The awards are named after Thomas Edison whose inventions, new product development methods and innovative achievements garnered him 1093 US patents, and made him a household name around the world.
Winning in the applied technology/ 3d printing category, the Desktop Metal Production System is the first metal 3D printing system for mass production of complex metal parts that is reportedly up to 100 times faster than current laser systems.
