The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) has announced that the PCI Powder Coating 2017 Technical Conference will be held from 27-31 March in Indianapolis, IN, USA.

The event will start with PCI’s popular Powder Coating 101: Basic Essentials Hands-On Workshop, which covers all the basics of powder coating operations and concludes with training demonstrations at a  local powder coating manufacturer’s facility.

The technical conference will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, with general sessions each morning followed by concurrent technical sessions. The conference will also include tabletop displays featuring powder coating manufacturers, powder coating application equipment, system houses, chemical suppliers and the various services that support the powder coating industry.

The week will conclude with the PCI Custom Coater Forum on Thursday evening and Friday.

PCI has issued a call for papers for the conference.  ‘Along with the essential sessions that are critical to powder coating operations, the PCI Educational Committee is looking for new and innovative programming that offers intriguing information to improve powder coating operations, discusses hot industry trends, and provides ideas to enhance business practices,’ the organization said. Abstracts should be submitted no later than 23 September 2016.  Go here for more information.
