Copper award for metallurgy specialist

Rory Montgomery, former quality assurance manager with US company Revere Copper Products, has won the Copper Club Award of the ASTM International committee on copper and copper alloys.

Montgomery was recognized for his service to the committee, standardization of chemical analysis methods and technical and editorial standards review and development. He has previously been honored with the Award of Appreciation by the committee.

An ASTM International member since 2011, Montgomery joined Revere Copper Products in 1978 and served in a variety of positions until his retirement in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in metallurgy from Michigan Technological University.
