Columbia Chemical Announces ISO Registration Renewal with the Updated ISO 9001:2008 Certificate

The renewal marks the 11th consecutive year Columbia Chemical has received ISO certification, verifying that Columbia Chemical continues to successfully implement an internationally recognized quality management system in the design and manufacture of proprietary additives for the metal finishing industry worldwide.

“Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification clearly demonstrates Columbia Chemical’s continued commitment to improving our quality management system,” said Pete Grasson, plant manager. “All levels of our organization were involved in the rigorous certification process, which will provide our customers and partners with added confidence in their decision to collaborate with Columbia Chemical.”

Additionally, Columbia Chemical has been granted re-certification of the ISO 9227 registration, which allows the company to continue to perform salt spray corrosion testing for the automotive industry while providing documented results needed to gain approvals.

The company’s certification was awarded by Orion Registrar, an ANAB and RvA accredited registrar, and will be valid until January 14, 2013.
