According to Ceratizit, India’s market is indeed very dynamic, in particular driven by the automotive and aerospace industry. Within the Ceratizit Group, WNT is the sales area of precision tools for small- and medium-sized companies in the metal cutting industry. It is already established in 16 European countries, while the Ceratizit Group has been manufacturing hardmetal products in India for more than 10 years.
"25 years after its establishment, WNT dares to take its first steps into Asia with the foundation of WNT India,” said Jacques Lanners, representative for the executive board of the Ceratizit Group. “A sales team of highly experienced application engineers will be focused primarily on the Indian industrial urban centres.”
In the next few week, a WNT product catalogue devised specifically for the Indian market will be released. An online shop is also in development, Ceratizit said.
