Additive manufacturing (AM) company XJet Ltd plans to exhibit its ceramic 3D printing machine at ceramitec 2018, taking place from 10-13 April 2018 in Munich, Germany.
The Carmel 1400 AM System machine, which uses nanoparticle jetting, makes it possible for ceramics manufacturers to create short-run parts with complex geometries, detail and high density without using molds. It works by printing ultrafine layers of nanoparticle ‘inks’ (dispersion to produce ceramic parts. ‘We’re very excited to see ceramitec’s reaction to a new game-changing manufacturing process,’ said Hanan Gothait, CEO and founder of XJet. ‘With a unique combination of detail, density and design freedom not previously afforded by traditional ceramics manufacturing, we think our new NanoParticle Jetting AM technology can have a significant positive impact on the industry.’
