British engine production falls in November

The Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT) reports that UK engine output fell by 8.2% in November. Production for domestic and overseas markets fell 7.8% and 8.4% respectively, and total with year-to-date output was down 28.2%, the organization said.

‘The eleventh consecutive month of decline for UK engine production is extremely concerning,’ said Mike Hawes, SMMT chief executive.
