Bodycote trading update

Automotive parts specialist Bodycote says that its group revenue for the four months ended April 2017 was £227 m, 18.0% higher than the same period last year.

Aerospace, defense and energy business revenues were higher by 10.8% (0.6% at constant exchange rates), while automotive and general industrial business revenues increased by 23.2%.

‘Bodycote’s performance in the first four months of the year has been robust and in line with the Board’s expectations,’ the company said. ‘Accordingly, the Group’s outlook for the year as a whole remains unchanged.’
