Bodycote opens new heat treatment plant

Thermal processing services provider Bodycote has announced that its heat treatment plant in Covington, Georgia, is now open. 

The new 60,000 ft2 facility, established to replace the company’s existing Conyers plant, will primarily serve automotive and general industrial customers, offering current processes and capabilities along with ferritic nitrocarburizing.

The new facility is more than double the size of the plant it replaces, increasing the capacity vailable to serve end users with a wide range of heat treatment processes.

This investment is part of Bodycote’s further expansion in the Southeast USA.
