The intensive two-day course includes practical information and theory about the powder production method and is aimed at engineers working in both metal powder production and R&D, the company said.
Course components include the main methods of atomizing metals; specific requirements for different metals; plant design, operation and economics; and manufacturing and characterizing powder for additive manufacturing and other advanced manufacturing techniques.
Atomization of Metals, which is in its 15th year, will be run by John Dunkley, chairman, Dirk Aderhold, technical director, and Tom Williamson R&D manager.
