AS9100 is a standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry. With this new certification AP&C is strongly positioned to service its growing aerospace customer base with high end metal powders.
AP&C uses proprietary plasma atomisation technology to produce metal powders, with titanium alloy powder being the largest product. A significant part of AP&C’s sales is to the 3D printing industry, while other markets include metal injection moulding (MIM), powders for spray coatings and powders for HIPed components.
