Arcam reports that its net sales increased by 17 % to SEK 307.6 million from SEK 262.0 million from January – June 2016.
For the second quarter, net sales amounted to SEK 147.7 million compared to SEK 150.6 for same prior year period.
‘In the first six months we increased our delivery pace and we delivered 28 (23) EBM systems,’ CEO Magnus René said. ‘The last twelve months we thus delivered 56 systems. Our metal powder manufacturer AP&C more than doubled its order intake compared to the same period 2015. […]

During the quarter the company launches its Arcam Q10plus and Arcam Q20plus systems and to meet the growing demand for AP&C’s titanium powder for additive manufacturing, continued to add capacity by building a new powder manufacturing plant.
‘AP&C now has six reactors in operation, and we plan to have eight reactors operating in our present plant Montreal by the end of this year,’ added René. ‘In May we also decided to increase further the capacity by building a new powder manufacturing plant outside Montreal, Canada. […]
With 14 machines in order, a stable aftermarket and a fast growing market for AM metal powders we are well positioned for a positive development in 2016.’
