Users may submit their entries in the advanced concepts category or the advanced finishing category. Each category will be open to all additive manufacturing technologies with a winner and runner-up being selected from each.
According to AMUG, the advanced concepts category recognizes exemplary work that "pushes the envelope." The advanced finishing category recognises the efforts of those that bring a part to life.
All entries will be displayed at the conference's AMUGexpo and will be judged by a panel of five industry experts. Winners will be announced during the 2014 AMUG Conference, which takes place from 6–10 April in Tucson, AZ, USA.
