AMUG elects 2019 officers

The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) has elected its new board.
The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) has elected its new board.

The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) has elected Carl Dekker, AMUG vice president and president of Met-L-Flo, as AMUG's president, replacing Paul Bates, manager at UL. Andrew Allshorn, AMUG global ambassador and owner of At 3D-Squared Ltd, will assume the role of vice president.

Leslie Frost, marketing operations leader at GE additive, Jamie Cone, engineer at BD and Thomas Sorovetz, casting engineer at FCA, were re-elected to their roles as secretary, vice president and event manager, respectively.

The outgoing board of directors made the following appointments: Gary Rabinovitz, chair (AM/3D printing lab manager at Reebok), Vince Anewenter, treasurer (director of MSOE's RP Consortium) and Todd Grimm, AM industry advisor (president of T A Grimm & Associates).

 The elected/appointed positions will serve from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. These officers will also comprise AMUG's board of directors.
