Alexander Varlahanov promoted to Velo3D CTO

Velo3D has promoted Alexander Varlahanov to the position of chief technology officer (CTO).

Varlahanov reportedly joined the company in 2017 and has helped design and scale the company’s additive manufacturing (AM) machines. He recently held the role of vice president of engineering, where he managed the company’s hardware and software products.

“In his various roles at Velo3D over the course of his career, Alex has made tremendous contributions to the company and has been pivotal in developing our innovative technology,” said Benny Buller, founder and CEO of Velo3D.
