Airbus to create 7000 new jobs

Airbus says that it plans to create around 7,000 new positions in the company.

This is to “support its commercial aircraft ramp-up”, it said. In all, it wants to recruit more than 13,000 people globally.

Over 9,000 of the posts will be in Europe, and a third of the total recruitment will be allocated to recent graduates, Airbus said.

“We call on talented individuals from all over the world to join us in our journey to make sustainable aerospace a reality and to help us build a better, more diverse and inclusive workplace for all our employees,” said Thierry Baril, human resources officer.
