Aerospace association recruits PM members

The Association’s new members include Alliant Techsystems, a producer of solid propulsion rocket motors, military and commercial aerostructures, missiles and satellite components to US government agencies and its prime contractors and subcontractors, ArmorWorks Enterprises, a manufacturer of high-tech military armour protection, including ceramic armour and composite armour components for a variety of aircraft and vehicle applications. It has also enrolled Tech Manufacturing, which specializes in complex, thin walls, monolithic, hardmetal and aluminium parts and kitting for prototype and production requirements.

"Our membership rolls grow as we continue to demonstrate the value of AIA during challenging times. We are working hard to make the business climate for aerospace and defense manufacturers a positive one,” said AIA President and CEO Marion C. Blakey.

Founded in 1919, the Aerospace Industries Association represents US  manufacturers and suppliers of civil, military, and business aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aircraft systems, space systems, aircraft engines, materiel, and related components, equipment services, and information technology.
