The Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) has set the date for its next online Fundamentals of Industrial Process Heating course.
Registration is now open for the course, scheduled for 17 January-27 February 2022.
According to the organization, the course ‘offers indispensable tools to industrial process heating operators and users of all types of industrial heating equipment’ and covers industrial heating equipment operation, how to reduce energy consumption and ways to improve the bottom line.
The curriculum includes the basics of heat transfer, fuels and combustion, energy use, furnace design, refractories, automatic control, and atmospheres as applied to industrial process heating.
